In honor of Valentine's Day......

Since the next big holiday coming up is Valentine's Day, I thought I would share with you the kids photo from 2009.  That was really the last time I could get my oldest son to pose for a picture like this. He is now a teenager and way to cool for these types of photos.  When we rescued our beautiful princess Grace the Black Lab we noticed that she was a big different from our princess Page who crossed the rainbow bridge a few years before.  Grace will sit and wear hats, capes, shirts, very different from her departed sister. Page would never wear things like that, she was too sexy for it :o) .  I miss my Page everyday and I love my princess Grace.  Since Grace would sit with things on, like a letter on her collar, I thought of this cute idea for her and the kids.  This is what I got.  The out takes were very cute but they are sitting on my old computer that crashed and is waiting for someone at my husbands work to look at it, might be awhile.  I also am posting this years Valentine's layout but still have not thought of a photo for Grace and the kids.  I think it may involve some wings or a headband with spring hearts.
These papers came with a kit from a club I used to beling to, Scrapbook Sussies. I really enjoyed getting stuff every month.  that club went out of business, any good kit clubs you suggest?
How funny is this dog?  Let me tell you, she was the only one who sat still and listened.
I used some scrap papers that coordinated, cut them into strips and folded them. Easy, cute and fast technique to add some fun.  Plus, I love getting rid of those scraps!
This is the layout I made for this year.  Most of the papers used are from the kit club. I have so much patterned paper I don't know what to do with yet I still buy it whenever I get the chance.  My New Years resolution should have been stop buying and start using. But they were made to be broken right?
All of these pieces were just stickers or extra things laying around.  The heart was cut from the Plantin School Book cart at 8 or 9 in.  I inked the edges with some red ink too.
